Swipefile
Keep the references you want to come back to — a clear opening, a useful comparison, a strong thumbnail — with folders, tags and your own notes.

Save a reference
- Click “Save reference” in Swipefile, or Save on any video card in Viral videos or Thumbnails.
- Check the Title and Source URL, choose a Folder, and add Tags and Notes. Write why you saved it.
- Save. The card shows the link, your notes and a “Source manifest” with where and when the reference was observed.
Organize
- “New folder” creates a folder; the menu at the top filters by folder, and the Tags box filters by tag or note text.
- Each card has a folder menu to move it, plus Edit and Delete.
- References synced from the Chrome extension appear here too.
Learn, then make it yoursRecord what you learned from a reference, then write a different treatment that suits your audience. Keeping the source and time helps you separate the original observation from your interpretation of it.
